Jonathan Scott

Jonathan Scott is a multifaceted entrepreneur, home transformation television and lifestyle personality, real estate expert, and New York Times best-selling author. He co-hosts and executive produces many hit TV series, including the Emmy-nominated franchise Property Brothers. Jonathan, alongside his twin brother Drew, is the co-founder and CEO of Scott Brothers Global, a leading lifestyle brand, and Scott Brothers Entertainment, an award-winning entertainment production company that produces hundreds of hours of unscripted lifestyle content for major networks every year. Their multi-category home furnishing and improvement brands, Scott Living and Drew & Jonathan Home, are sold in thousands of retail outlets across North America and on major e-commerce platforms. In 2025, Drew and Jonathan launched BrandJourney, a one-stop licensing partner for building home brands.

Having renovated over 1,000 homes during his career, Jonathan is an activist and philanthropist advocating for affordable housing, clean energy, and happy and healthy homes. He serves on the board of Rewiring America and as an ambassador for Habitat for Humanity as a Global Habitat Humanitarian—the international housing organization’s highest honor. In 2020, Jonathan produced an award-winning documentary, Jonathan Scott’s Power Trip, which investigates renewable energy and the struggle to make it more available to families across the United States. Additionally, Jonathan testified to the U.S. Senate Climate Change Task Force in 2022, and is an advisor to The Climate Reality Project, Vice President Al Gore’s NGO with whom Jonathan co-authored an e-book, Knowledge is Power, in 2019. In 2025, Jonathan led the group of investors that acquired Phyn, a smart water shutoff solution and leader in leak detection and home protection.
