Jennifer Hughes is US markets editor for the Financial Times, based in New York. She rejoined in 2022 after five years with Reuters and its commentary arm, Breakingviews. Prior to that, her 18-year FT career included writing the Lex column, covering capital markets, banks, finance, deals and regulation during stints in New York, London and most recently, Hong Kong.
