Dr. Anita Gupta is a highly accomplished, innovation, drug expert with a proven track record of advancing breakthrough initiatives in the United States. Notably, recognized for breakthroughs related to the drug crisis as the American Society of Anesthesiologists appointed Gupta to advocate at the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) to expand the use of naloxone, an opioid-blocking drug, on the front lines to address overdoses. Gupta helped to flag the emergence of synthetic opioids in the Philadelphia drug trade, including fentanyl and illicit drugs W-18.
