Jim Park is the CEO of AAAIM - an organization dedicated to increasing diversity and inclusion in the investment management field. Jim has a wide-ranging experience as an entrepreneur, corporate executive, government official, and nonprofit advocate. He has also spent many years supporting issues around AAPI empowerment, consumer protection, and leadership development. Jim was the primary financial sponsor of two of the largest AAPI-based organizations in the country - Asian Real Estate Association of America (AREAA) and National Coalition of Asian Pacific American Community Development (National CAPACD). Jim serves on various boards including AREAA, Leaders Forum (LF), International Centre of Insect Physiology and Ecology (based in Kenya, Africa), and Asian Pacific American Institute for Congressional Studies (APAICS).In addition to dedicating more than three decades advocating for affordable housing and minority homeownership issues, Jim has started and operated several real estate and finance companies including the Mortgage Collaborative and New Vista Asset Management. Jim spent nearly two decades in Washington, DC as an advocate for issues affecting AAPI community and affordable housing. His work in DC included serving as a political appointee at the Department of Housing and Urban Development and chairing the Federal Reserve’s Consumer Advisory Council.
