Jonathan Kellner

CEO, Members Exchange

Jonathan Kellner is the Chief Executive Officer of Members Exchange (MEMX), a new equities exchange founded in early 2019 by nine leading retail broker-dealers, banks, financial services firms, and global market makers. Previously, he was CEO of Instinet Inc., where he was responsible for the firm's global brokerage operations and organization, including registered broker-dealers in six jurisdictions. For over 15 years at Instinet, Mr. Kellner served in capacities including President and Head of U.S. Sales Trading and was a member of senior Nomura committees including the Wholesale Executive Committee and the Global Markets Executive Committee. Mr. Kellner started his financial services career in technology and equity trading roles at Charles Schwab, Investment Technology Group and Morgan Stanley. He holds a bachelor of science in mechanical engineering from the University of Michigan.
