Through Countdown, she unites scientists, clinicians, philanthropists, innovators, and advocates to accelerate discoveries that could transform our understanding of disease, resilience, performance, and healthy aging. Mitzi's career spans media, public relations, brand strategy, and strategic partnerships, including roles at CNN, PMK, and the World Gold Council.
She later founded Mitzi & Associates Inc., advising leading entertainment, luxury, fashion, beauty, and lifestyle brands. She holds a bachelor's degree in Journalism from Indiana University and a master's degree in Education from New York University. Inspired by her personal health journey, Mitzi founded Countdown to advance scientific collaboration and help reshape how we approach human health. She also serves on the Board of the Center for Mitochondrial and Epigenomic Medicine at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia and holds leadership roles with the Jewish Federation of Greater Atlanta.
Based in Atlanta, Mitzi is a wife, mother of four, with her family as a daily reminder of the energy.
