Elizabeth “Liz” McGee is Global Head of Inclusive Health Accelerators, Community Impact & Partnerships at Novartis, where she leads efforts to develop data-driven approaches that address barriers to health access and create more sustainable pathways to better health. Her work in inclusive health brings together business, community and cross-sector partners to translate local insights into community-led solutions designed for meaningful and lasting impact.
Over more than 20 years at Novartis, Liz has held senior leadership roles spanning the business, including more than a decade as U.S. General Counsel, where she helped guide the organization through complex regulatory, market and geopolitical challenges and supported the launch of innovative medicines. That experience has shaped her understanding of how complex systems can evolve and the role different sectors can play in driving change. Her commitment to expanding health access is also deeply personal. Longstanding volunteer engagement supporting individuals navigating housing and economic insecurity has given Liz a firsthand view of how circumstances beyond the healthcare system can shape health and access to care. It continues to inform her belief that lasting solutions begin by listening to communities and building with them, not simply for them.
Liz holds a J.D. from Fordham University School of Law and a B.A. from Cornell University.
