Angela Fitch

Angela Fitch, MD, FACP, MFOMA, Dipl. ABOM, is co-founder and Chief Medical Officer of knownwell, a comprehensive primary care and obesity medicine practice delivering weight-inclusive, evidence-based care across the U.S. An internationally recognized expert in obesity medicine, she currently serves on the board of directors for the Obesity Action Coalition, past president of the Obesity Medicine Association, former co-director of the Massachusetts General Hospital Weight Center, and former faculty at Harvard Medical School and the University of Cincinnati. Board-certified in internal medicine, pediatrics, and obesity medicine, Dr. Fitch’s work spans clinical care, education, research, policy, and advocacy focused on improving access to chronic obesity treatment and reducing weight stigma in healthcare.
