Gregory Daniel, PhD, MPH is Vice President & Head of Global Public Policy at Eli Lilly and Company. In this role, Greg leads Lilly's Global Public Policy group, responsible for identifying, assessing, and developing public policies in areas of biopharmaceutical access, affordability and innovation, global value-based healthcare, health equity, and other high priority policy areas. He is also currently the Editor-in-Chief of Therapeutic Innovation and Regulatory Science (TIRS), the scientific journal of DIA. Greg also serves on the Board of Directors and is Past President for the Innovation in Value Initiative (IVI) Foundation. Prior to joining Eli Lilly, Greg was Head of Healthcare Policy at Edwards Lifesciences; Deputy Center Director & Clinical Professor at the Duke-Margolis Center for Health Policy; Fellow & Managing Director in the Center for Health Policy at the Brookings Institution; and Vice President, Government and Academic Research at HealthCore (subsidiary of Anthem).Greg received his PhD in pharmaceutical economics and policy from the University of Arizona, and an MPH focused in biostatistics, MS, and BS in Pharmacy all from The Ohio State University.
