Priya Bellino

Priya is the Head of the Sustainability Solutions Group, Asia Pacific at Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation (SMBC). Based in Singapore, Priya is responsible for leading SMBC’s sustainable finance initiatives across all products and sectors in Asia Pacific. Working with a dedicated team of sustainability specialists, she drives SMBC’s climate and sustainability ambitions with clients and partners across the region. 

Priya is active in various industry forums including the Singapore Green Finance Centre, the Singapore Sustainable Finance Association Nature and Biodiversity Workstream, GFANZ APAC Workstreams and the MAS Transition Credits Coalition. Before joining SMBC, Priya led the ASEAN Sustainable Finance and ESG solutions practice at EY Consulting. 

Prior to EY, Priya led her own independent sustainability consulting firm Aquabaleno and had a 17-year career at investment bank Goldman Sachs in London and Singapore.

Priya holds a BSc in Economics and Geography from University College London and sustainability accreditations from GARP Sustainability and Climate Risk, CISL Sustainable Finance and EIIS for Biodiversity and Business Sustainability.

Priya is also an adjunct faculty for Sustainable Finance at Singapore Management University.
