Nirvana Chaudhary is a prominent Nepali entrepreneur, global business leader, and philanthropist who serves as the Managing Director of CG Corp Global, one of South Asia’s largest multinational conglomerates. Under his leadership, the Chaudhary Group has expanded into a diversified global enterprise spanning more than 136 companies and 76 brands across over 30 countries.
Born into the Chaudhary family, Nirvana is the eldest son of Binod Chaudhary, Nepal’s first billionaire and founder of CG Corp Global. From an early age he was exposed to the dynamics of enterprise and leadership, shaping his entrepreneurial mindset. He completed his undergraduate and MBA studies at Kathmandu University and later pursued executive education at leading global institutions including MIT and London Business School.
Nirvana demonstrated his entrepreneurial drive early in life when he founded CG Finco at the age of
19. The success of this venture laid the foundation for his leadership role within the Chaudhary
Group, where he rapidly rose through the ranks to become Managing Director of CG Corp Global before the age of 30.
Today he leads the global strategy and operations of CG Corp Global, guiding its expansion across Asia, Europe, Africa, and the Middle East while building strategic partnerships across industries including food, hospitality, banking, telecom, infrastructure, and energy.
In addition to his corporate responsibilities, Nirvana serves as Chairman of Nabil Bank and Senior Vice President of the Confederation of Nepalese Industries (CNI), where he contributes to shaping economic policy and strengthening Nepal’s private sector ecosystem.
Beyond business leadership, Nirvana is deeply committed to social impact. As Vice Chair of the Chaudhary Foundation, he has led major initiatives in disaster relief, education, healthcare, and community development, including reconstruction efforts following Nepal’s 2015 earthquake.
Nirvana is also an advocate for entrepreneurship and youth leadership. He is a founding member of both the Young Presidents’ Organization (YPO) Nepal Chapter and Entrepreneurs’ Organization (EO)
Nepal Chapter.
His leadership and social contributions have earned international recognition including being named among Tatler Asia’s New Faces of Asia and a Young Global Leader by the World Economic Forum. He frequently speaks at global forums including Davos.
Outside the boardroom, Nirvana is a former member of Nepal’s National Squash Team and an avid adventurer, having summited Mount Kilimanjaro and trekked to Everest Base Camp. He is also a musician, podcast host of “Making It Bigger,” and author of books including “Araaya’s Fables” and “Beyond Wonder Woman.”
