Matteo Franceschetti

Matteo Franceschetti is the Co-Founder and CEO of Eight Sleep, the world's first sleep fitness company, combining hardware, software, and AI to optimize how people sleep. Eight Sleep's products power the sleep of pro athletes and everyday high performers around the world, including Elon Musk, Mark Zuckerberg, Olympic medalists, Formula 1 drivers, and top tennis players. The company has been named one of Fast Company's Most Innovative Companies four times and has twice made TIME's Best Inventions list. Its products are sold in 37 countries at eightsleep.com. Eight Sleep has raised over $300M from leading venture firms including Founders Fund, Khosla Ventures, Valor Equity Partners, Y Combinator and a roster of notable angels spanning top entrepreneurs, athletes, and entertainers.

Before founding Eight Sleep, Matteo was a competitive athlete and graduated magna cum laude, then practiced at Magic Circle law firms Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer and Allen & Overy. He went on to build and sell two clean-tech companies. Today, he is also an active investor in more than 200 leading technology companies, including Ramp, Cognition, Deel, Bending Spoons, SpaceX, Cursor, Crusoe and Lovable. Born and raised in Italy, he now lives in Miami.
