Dongjun Im

Dongjun Im is CEO of Hanwha Asset Management, a Korean asset manager offering investment solutions across equities, fixed income, and alternatives. Appointed in August 2026, he brings nearly two decades of investment and management experience across Hanwha's asset management and insurance businesses in Korea, the United States, and Vietnam. Immediately prior to his current role, Dongjun served as Chief Investment Officer of Hanwha Asset Management. Before that, he was CEO of Hanwha Asset Management (USA), where he built venture capital and alternative investment platforms in the U.S. market, led fundraising, and established the subsidiary's operating foundation.

Dongjun previously spent 14 years at Hanwha Life. He began his career as an Equity Fund Manager, went on to lead the Affiliates Management and Global Business Development functions at headquarters, and later served as CEO of Hanwha Life Insurance Vietnam. His areas of expertise include global investment, alternative investments, and financial management.

Dongjun holds an MBA in Investment and General Management from the University of Virginia Darden School of Business and a B.A. in Social Science from Sogang University, and is an alumnus of Stanford GSB.
