David Junius

David leads FWD Group's finance, actuarial, investment, and legal functions, overseeing the Group's financial direction and strategy. He has almost 30 years of experience, including Chief Financial Officer (CFO) roles at Pearl Health, Cowbell Cyber, and SiriusPoint where he was also Chief Operating Officer. Earlier in his career, David held various senior roles at AIG, including Corporate Treasurer, International CFO for its general insurance business which spanned 50 countries, and Asia Pacific CFO which included the life business in Japan. He holds a Master of Business Administration in Analytical Finance & Accounting from the Booth School of Business, University of Chicago, a Master of Arts in International Affairs from the Elliott School for International Affairs at The George Washington University and a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations & Soviet Studies from Boston University.
