Daniel Dae Kim

Daniel Dae Kim is an actor, director, producer and social advocate, best known for his performance as “Jin-Soo Kwon” on the landmark series LOST, which earned him and the cast a Screen Actors Guild Award for Outstanding Ensemble, and as “Chin Ho Kelly” on HAWAII FIVE-O, a role he played for seven seasons. His film and television credits include K-EVERYTHING, BUTTERFLY, KPOP DEMON HUNTERS, AVATAR: THE LAST AIRBENDER, STOWAWAY, THE HOT ZONE: ANTHRAX, RAYA AND THE LAST DRAGON, and more. On Broadway, Kim led the 2024 revival of David Henry Hwang’s YELLOW FACE, earning a 2025 Tony Award nomination for Best Performance by a Leading Actor in a Play and making history as the first AAPI lead actor nominee in the 78-year history of the Tony Awards. In 2014, he founded the production company 3AD. Under the 3AD banner, he served as an executive producer on ABC’s acclaimed series THE GOOD DOCTOR, 2023’s multi-award-winning IFC documentary feature film, BAD AXE, and his own starring thriller for Prime Video, BUTTERFLY.
