Lina is the bureau chief of Insider Inc's Singapore bureau. She moved to Singapore in January 2021 to launch the bureau as its first managing editor, hiring and training all editorial hires across business, news, and lifestyle desks. She took over as bureau chief in June 2022 and now manages all three editorial desks in Singapore. Before that, she worked in New York City as the executive lifestyle editor for Business Insider, for a viral media startup, and in publishing. Her areas of expertise include culture, real estate, and wealth reporting.
