Hungry for Change: Reimagining Food Security

-

The forces reshaping food security are converging. Economic pressure, supply chain disruptions, and climate volatility are straining the systems that deliver food to households. Food insecurity is often discussed in terms of health, but it starts with how food is produced, moved, priced, and accessed. Those systems remain fragmented across sectors, institutions, and policies—a fragmentation that is increasingly difficult to sustain in a multi-shock era. This session brings together policymakers, frontline hunger leaders, and food industry executives to showcase the innovations and work being done to improve food accessibility and affordability.
