Alexandra Drane is co-founder and CEO of ARCHANGELS — a women-owned, omni-channel platform supporting unpaid caregivers nationwide. She previously co-founded Rebel Health, Eliza Corporation (acquired by HMS Holdings, now Cotiviti), and Engage with Grace. She serves on the Joint Commission Resources Board of Directors, RAND Social and Economic Policy Advisory Board, as Vice Chair of the Trustee Advisory Board at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, and as a founding member of the C-TAC Board of Directors. Additional roles include Harvard Medical School’s Executive Council for the Division of Sleep Medicine, Boston Children’s Hospital Innovation and Digital Health Accelerator, Lake Nona Impact Forum, OpenNotes Lab, and the Entrepreneurs Council for the United States of Care. She also spent seven years on the Massachusetts Technology Collaborative Board. Her honors include the Care100 list, VNA Care Hero, Top Women in Healthcare’s Entrepreneur of the Year, Boston Globe’s Top 100 Women Leaders, and Boston Business Journal’s “40 Under 40.” She has spoken at the Milken Global Conference, CNN Life Itself, TEDMED, HLTH, NCQA, the National Academies, and in 2025 gave the Northeastern University College of Professional Studies commencement address. She is an inventor on numerous patents and co-author of peer-reviewed publications with the CDC, NEJM Catalyst, and others. Outside of healthcare, she enjoys car racing, fiercely loving on family, friends, neighbors, and living into the belief that “the adventure begins when it all goes wrong.”
