Kate Wears is Executive Director of the Myhre Syndrome Foundation with overall strategic and operational responsibility, including programs, expansion, and execution of its mission. Myhre Syndrome Foundation is a patient advocacy organization dedicated to providing hope and improving the lives of those impacted by Myhre syndrome. Kate became involved with the organization following her son's diagnosis of Myhre syndrome in 2020. Kate has over 16 years’ experience in communications, most recently as a Marketing and Communications Director, working across consumer and b2b organizations. Key deliverables included developing marketing strategies, budget management, overseeing campaign planning and creative execution, and managing team members including personal development and training.
