Laura Coquis recently joined Investcorp as Global Head of Institutions where she is responsible for leading Investcorp’s capital raising initiatives across international institutional markets delivering capital formation strategies and innovative solutions to drive industry-leading outcomes. Laura has over 20 years’ experience in capital formation, investor relations and investment banking. Since 2008, she has focused on the design and implementation of institutional capital formation and investor relations strategies for private markets firms including leadership positions at advisors, most recently as a Partner at Aviditi Advisors, and also within asset managers, such as BC Partners where she spent 9 years as a Partner-Head of Investor Relations Management, and also OMERS Private Markets where she was a Managing Director responsible for Strategic Partnerships. Laura’s earlier career in investment banking includes leveraged finance and M&A roles at Lehman Brothers and Merrill Lynch in London, Sydney and New York.
