Matthew Belloni is editorial director of The Hollywood Reporter. He oversees all of THR's editorial properties, including its award-winning print magazine, THR.com and its video and audio platforms. Before rising to his current role, Belloni served THR in a number of senior editorial roles including executive editor, news director, managing editor of features, and editor of The Hollywood Reporter's entertainment law blog, THR, Esq. During his tenure, THR has twice being named recipient of a National Magazine Award for General Excellence, and won 50 National Arts and Entertainment Journalism awards. Belloni has been at the forefront of The Hollywood Reporter's move into video and television, spearheading initiatives like the Daytime Emmy-nominated "Close Up With The Hollywood Reporter" roundtable series. He is also responsible for overseeing THR's signature live events. A graduate of University of California, Berkeley and the University of Southern California School of Law, Belloni was an attorney at an entertainment litigation firm in Los Angeles before joining THR.
