Randi Woods

CEO, STAR Community Health Solutions

Randi Woods, MBA, MS, RN, is a visionary nurse executive and social impact strategist advancing health equity through workforce transformation and community-centered care models. She currently serves as President and CEO of STAR Community Health Solutions (formerly Sisters Together and Reaching, Inc.), a Baltimore-based organization redefining how health systems engage trusted frontline public health workers. With more than 25 years of experience spanning acute care, managed care, and nonprofit leadership, Randi bridges the worlds of clinical practice, public health, and policy to design systems where both people and providers can thrive. Her work has informed regional and national conversations on how to sustainably integrate Community Health Workers (CHWs) into value-based care and population health frameworks.

A national leader in CHW workforce development and systems integration, Randi has partnered with leading institutions—including Johns Hopkins, CareFirst, and the Institute for Public Health Innovation—to build scalable, trust-based models that improve outcomes and strengthen the public health workforce. She is a Carol Emmott Fellow, Adjunct Faculty at the Johns Hopkins School of Nursing, and serves on the Executive Committee of the Board of Healthcare for the Homeless.

Grounded in her values of joy, justice, and community, Randi leads with the conviction that true innovation begins in partnership with the people closest to the challenges we aim to solve.
