Rashmi Sinha

Co-Founder, Systemic JIA Foundation

Rashmi Sinha is a scientist and entrepreneur, and the co-founder of the Systemic JIA Foundation. She is the mother of 8-year old twin boys, one of whom has Systemic JIA & Lung disease. Rashmi is determined to find a cure for Systemic JIA so that kids like her son have a chance to live full and complete lives. The Systemic JIA Foundation is working with parents, researchers, regulators and pharma companies to reach that goal. Rashmi has a PhD in Cognitive Neuropsychology from Brown University and a Post-Doc in Human Computer Interaction from UC Berkeley. She is passionate about technology and has co-founded multiple technology startups, the most recent being SlideShare, which is used by millions of people globally and was acquired by LinkedIn in 2012.
