Mr. Vikram Limaye is the Managing Director and CEO of the National Stock Exchange of India Limited (NSE) which is the world's second largest exchange in cash market trades and one of the top three exchanges in index and stock derivatives volumes. Prior to joining NSE, he was the Managing Director & CEO of IDFC Limited and has worked with Arthur Andersen in Mumbai in 1987, Ernst & Young and Citibank before going to the US in 1994 to pursue MBA. He has also worked on Wall Street in USA with Credit Suisse First Boston in a variety of roles. He has contributed to various committees of government and industry associations on a range of topics surrounding infrastructure, economic policy, markets, trade, minority affairs etc. Currently he is the Chairman of the Working Committee of the World Federation of Exchanges (WFE) and also a member of the Board of Directors of WFE. He is a Chartered Accountant and an MBA in Finance and Multinational Management from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, USA.
