Priya Agarwal Hebbar is the Non-Executive Director of Vedanta Limited and Chairperson of Hindustan Zinc Limited (HZL).

Priya is steering Vedanta's transformation into a global leader with strategic focus on critical minerals, transition metals, energy, and technology. With its industry-leading portfolio of zinc, silver, aluminium, oil & gas, and with growing ventures in electronics and display glass, Vedanta is powering the global energy transition and technology revolution.

Priya also drives Vedanta's commitment to achieve net zero by 2050. Under her leadership, HZL has been ranked by S&P Global as the world’s most sustainable metals and mining company for two consecutive years. In 2025, HZL also became India’s only member of the International Council on Mining and Metals.

Social impact is central to Vedanta’s purpose. Through the Anil Agarwal Foundation, Priya leads developmental initiatives in education, healthcare, livelihoods, women’s empowerment, sports, and culture, benefiting millions across India.

A passionate advocate of animal welfare, Priya founded YODA (Youth Organisation in Defence of Animals) in 2010, now Maharashtra’s largest animal welfare organisation. She also spearheads TACO (The Animal Care Organisation), which provides world-class infrastructure, medical care, training, and shelters nationwide.
