In bringing society into the c-suite, his research models include The Milken Institute "Listening Project," U.S. News & World Report's "Best Countries" with The Wharton School of Business, and Unilever's Gender Equity in the Workplace. He's written for HBR and McKinsey Quarterly and his essay, 'The Trouble with Brands,' was named among the 'Top Management Articles of the Decade' by Strategy & Business. Among several best-selling books, Spend Shift: How the Post-Crisis Values Revolution Will Change the Way We Buy, Sell, and Live (2010) predicted the rise of ESG-driven businesses.
