In the face of a global mental health crisis and an overwhelmed system providing insufficient and inequitable access to mental health care, cross-sector collaboration is essential to address key gaps and challenges. Changes must be made at all levels of the system, from discovery science to care delivery—and it cannot happen soon enough. Can strategies such as funding collaboratives, global peer-to-peer networks, and interdisciplinary teams comprising doctors, patients, and caregivers offer novel and effective solutions? By going forward together, can we scale impact, limit duplicative efforts, and take bold action to move mental health care forward?
