Accelerating Securitization in Africa: The Benefits of Investing in Securitization Transactions

Securitization is increasingly seen as critical to mobilizing private capital to finance the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Transactions can be structured to meet the risk/return profiles that investors want, and small borrowings can be aggregated and pooled to create large-sized investment opportunities. Securitization is underdeveloped in much of Africa, as in most emerging market countries, but can play a potentially large role in helping African countries meet their significant SDG financing goals.

In this webinar, a panel of leaders in the African financial space, as well as experts on global markets, will discuss the issues facing securitization in Africa.
