The 25th annual Milken Institute Global Conference will open with welcoming remarks from Milken Institute CEO, Michael Klowden, followed by a presentation from Harris Poll CEO, John Gerzema on the release of The 2022 Milken Institute-Harris Poll Listening Project, sharing insights from this year's research examining the role of business in accelerating social progress.

These opening remarks will be followed by a panel discussion led by Milken Institute Chairman, Mike Milken, on Health and Medicine in a Connected World.

One of the lessons learned from the COVID-19 pandemic is that we were bound together globally in a common experience, interdependent to a degree that few appreciated, both in the spread of the disease and its resolution. Those who work in the public health and biomedical ecosystem have been reminded of why we do this work—to help and to heal—and that it's better when we do it together. We can more clearly see some of the man-made impediments we've put in our own way. What creative, innovative solutions to medical and health challenges emerged from the crucible of COVID-19? What are the most urgent global health burdens to which we should apply these innovations? How can we leverage the power of connection to improve health outcomes for all?
