Johnpaul Dimech is a seasoned and astute international CEO with over 30 years' experience in the B2B and B2C sectors. In his role as Zone President for Asia Pacific, Middle East & Africa (APMEA), Brazil and Latin America, he is responsible for over 198,800 employees. Johnpaul is also Region CEO for APMEA, and a member of Sodexo’s Senior Leadership Team. By taking a pragmatic approach to driving results through organizational design, performance and contract management as well as operational excellence, Johnpaul has delivered sustainable growth and margin improvement. A hands-on leader, Johnpaul plays an instrumental role in driving Sodexo's commitment to Safety and Culture & Belonging; building and advocating for diverse and inclusive teams across the organization. Johnpaul serves as Chair of Sodexo's Global HSE Committee and is also the executive sponsor of Sodexo’s Global Abilities Committee, encouraging dialogue and support around disabilities, and in particular, mental health. Additionally, he is a strong supporter of Sodexo's STOP Hunger initiatives and a proponent of data-driven food waste prevention programs, working closely with leaders and teams globally to drive progress towards Sodexo’s sustainability goals. An Australian citizen, Johnpaul is also the Board Director of the Australian Resources and Energy Employer Association (AREEA) and a fellow of the Australian Institute of Management.
