Pete is the senior policy adviser in the executive office of the Biotechnology Innovation Organization (BIO) in Washington DC and is lead adviser for Federal and State economic development and innovation policy creation and advocacy efforts in areas that include company creation/expansion, innovation partnerships, workforce development and technology transfer. He serves on several academic committees representing BIO including the BIO Workforce, Diversity, and Inclusion Board Committee, the BIO Academic Research Advisory Committee, and the Association of Public Land-Grant Universities (APLU) Workforce Working Group, NSF InnovateBIO Workforce Training National Advisory Council, among others. He has a Bachelor’s Degree from California State University-Northridge and Master’s Degree from Michigan State University.
