Ambassador Gil Haskel is the Head of MASHAV, Israel’s Agency for International Development Cooperation. Since joining the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in 1992, Ambassador Haskel has represented Israel in a variety of capacities, including, among others, Political Counselor & Spokesman, Embassy of Israel, Tokyo, and Japan; Counselor, Head of the North East Asia Desk; Head of the NGO Liaison Unit; and Director of the Economic Affairs Department.   In his last capacity, Ambassador Haskel served as Ambassador of the State of Israel to Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Malawi, Seychelles & Permanent Representative to UNON, UNEP and UNHABITAT.
