Abdulla Mohammed Al Zamil was appointed CEO of Zamil Industrial in October 2009. He acted as Chief Operating Officer of Zamil Industrial since January 2004. Prior to that, he was Senior Vice President of Zamil Air Conditioners and Zamil Industrial's Shared Services. He began his professional career in 1987 with Zamil Air Conditioners as an Industrial Engineer and subsequently Vice President, Sales & Marketing and Purchasing & Materials Management. He is also a Board Member of Zamil industrial & Subsidiaries. His external board assignments include Vice Chairman, Gulf International Bank - Bahrain (owned by the Public Investment Fund in Saudi Arabia); Chairman of the Board, GIB Capital; Chairman of the Board, GIB KSA; Chairman of the Board, Saudi Global Ports (joint venture between KSA Public Invest. Fund and Port Singapore Authority (PSA)); Board member, Eastern Province Council (Govt. Entity); Chairman of the Board, Dammam Airports Company (DACO); and Member of Founding Council Neom Industrial City (NIC).
