Tak Niinami is the Chief Executive Officer of Suntory Holdings, and has led the company’s global strategic growth since taking the helm in 2014. Prior to Suntory, he served as CEO of Lawson, Inc. for 13 years. Outside of Suntory, Tak is a member of the Council on Economic and Fiscal Policy as a senior economic advisor to Prime Minister Shinzo Abe, and serves as Vice Chair of the Board of Councillors of Keidanren – Japan Business Foundation. He is also a member of international organizations such as the World Economic Forum’s International Business Council, the Global Board of Advisors of the Council on Foreign Relations and The Business Council of the U.S. Tak received his MBA with honors from Harvard Business School.
