Miku Hirano is CEO of Cinnamon AI, a serial entrepreneur, and angel investor. She is engaged in research on recommendation engines, complex networks, and clustering. In 2005 and 2006, Hirano won the Innovative Software Creation Program (Super Creator Award), a prize given by the Information-technology Promotion Agency Japan (IPA). She started her first business to create the middleware which enables to develop apps for iOS, Android, and feature phones simultaneously, and sold the company to mixi.inc. She holds an MSc, in Artificial Intelligence from Tokyo University.
