Jano is leading the Challenge program at Germany's Federal Agency for Disruptive Innovation (SPRIND). With Challenges in drug development, climate tech, energy, biotech, autonomous systems and more SPRIND funds potential breakthrough innovations internationally. To enable a government agency to effectively support breakthrough innovation, he implemented a novel mechanism for innovation funding eliminating bureaucratic processes.
