As Election Day 2020 draws near, the political landscape is replete with more unknowns than a normal election year. Amid a global pandemic, social unrest, and a pandemic-induced economic downturn, the 2020 election campaign cycle will go on record as the most unorthodox in recent history. From virtual conventions, a campaign largely devoid of in-person gatherings, and a greater proliferation of mail-in voting, to a shifting electoral map in which more states than usual may be up for grabs, uncertainty abounds. Confronting this ambiguity, our panel of top forecasters and politicos will discuss the key issues of this election and explore its potential outcomes, including the important down-ballot races that will shape policymaking in 2021 and beyond.
This session will incorporate live polling, presented by the Harris Poll. This interactive feature is available for registered participants only.
