Descending from a German industrial family, Dr. Jeannette zu Fürstenberg’s focus is on fostering co-operation between young digital disruptors and established companies. She is Co-Founder and General Partner of “La Famiglia”, a Berlin-based Venture Capital fund investing in pan-European, early stage tech companies, that enable or disrupt large industries. La Famiglia is backed by corporates as well as leading entrepreneurs from the old and new economy and provides precious early market access, impactful partnerships and deep expertise for her portfolio companies. More than a regular venture fund, La Famiglia serves as a trusted access platform creating unique relationships between the old and the new world, creating real differentiated leverage on capital. Jeannette has been active in the startup ecosystem as co-founder, investor and advisor since 2013. Before, she has worked for a major European investment fund. She holds a PHD in Philosophy and Entrepreneurship from Freie Universität Berlin.
