Dr. Kerry Healey became President of Babson College in 2013. Under her leadership, Babson was consistently ranked No. 1 for entrepreneurship and international students. She initiated free, online entrepreneurship courses that reached nearly 200,000 students worldwide. From 2003-2007, Healey served as the 70th lieutenant governor of Massachusetts. During her term, Massachusetts schools were ranked No. 1 in the nation and she established Recovery High Schools in response to the opioid epidemic, championed anti-drunk driving legislation, reducing fatalities by 20%, and assisted Governor Mitt Romney in crafting first-in-the-nation health care reform. Healey has been a fellow at the Harvard's Institute of Politics and Center for Public Leadership. She is a trustee of the American University of Afghanistan, and a member of the Council on Foreign Relations, World Economic Forum expert network, and the Belfer Center's International Council. Healey's forthcoming book, The Politics of Dignity: An Agenda to Unify America's Moderate Majority (Disruption Books) will be released in January 2020. Healey holds an AB in government from Harvard College and a PhD from Trinity College, Dublin.
