Sahil Kini is the Founder and CEO of Setu, a fintech focussed on Open API Banking. His company focuses on advancing accessibility & affordability of financial products by making it easy for companies to integrate with banking systems. Previously, he was a Principal at Aspada Investment Advisors, an India focused $100Mn early stage investment vehicle where he led investments in financial services, SME enablement, and technology for underserved markets. Mr. Kini was one of the early team members of Aadhaar, India's digital identity program with over a billion citizens enrolled. He is also an active iSpirt volunteer working to evangelize the India Stack, and addressing issues around financial inclusion, macroeconomic policy, and data privacy. Sahil writes regularly on these topics in national and international publications, including a print column in the Mint newspaper titled the Bharat Rough Book. His prior experience includes stints at McKinsey & Company, Titan Industries, and Ezetap. Sahil holds a B. Tech from IIT Madras.
