Co-Founder and CEO, Tradeshift
Christian Lanng

Christian Lanng is CEO, co-founder and chairman at Tradeshift, a supply chain payments and marketplaces platform with 1.5 million customers across 190 countries. At age 19, Christian founded and sold his first company, an early mobile internet and e-commerce solution, and became the youngest Head of Division within the Danish government. At 27, Christian co-founded Tradeshift with two friends in a garage, and 13 years later, their vision to change the operation of global business has become a reality, as millions of people across almost 200 countries now use Tradeshift, making it the largest global business network for buying and selling. As a member of the World Economic Forum's Global Agenda Council, Christian is acutely in tune with global trade and the digital economy (he even helped the Danish government modernize its infrastructure). Christian, who was named a finalist in the prestigious 2017 EY Entrepreneur of the Year U.S. Awards, is an outspoken, no-nonsense CEO. He's not afraid to make controversial statements, and his dogged work ethic and attitude have allowed him to think innovatively and devise out-of-the-box solutions for the industry's most pressing challenges.
