Christian Lanng is CEO, co-founder and chairman at Tradeshift, a supply chain payments and marketplaces platform with 1.5 million customers across 190 countries. At age 19, Christian founded and sold his first company, an early mobile internet and e-commerce solution, and became the youngest Head of Division within the Danish government. At 27, Christian co-founded Tradeshift with two friends in a garage, and 13 years later, their vision to change the operation of global business has become a reality, as millions of people across almost 200 countries now use Tradeshift, making it the largest global business network for buying and selling. As a member of the World Economic Forum's Global Agenda Council, Christian is acutely in tune with global trade and the digital economy (he even helped the Danish government modernize its infrastructure).
