Graves Tompkins is a Managing Director and Global Head of Capital Partnering for General Atlantic. He serves on the firm's Management and Portfolio Committees, and he is also responsible for its Human Capital, Marketing & Communications, and General Atlantic Foundation activities. Previously, he worked on the firm's Healthcare and Financial Services sector teams. Prior to joining General Atlantic in 2007, Graves worked in the Merchant Banking division at Goldman Sachs, where he focused on principal investments across a broad range of sectors, and as a management consultant at McKinsey & Company. Graves is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations and a Young Global Leader at the World Economic Forum and he was previously a David Rockefeller Fellow through the New York City Partnership.
