Glenn Yago

Glenn Yago is a senior fellow and founder of the Financial Innovations Labs at the Milken Institute and the senior director of the Milken Innovation Center and Blum Lab for Developing Economies at the Jerusalem Institute. The Center and Lab serve as a field school launching training and innovative finance for sustainable development. His research contributed to policy innovations fostering the democratization of capital to traditionally underserved markets to finance ideas for sustainable development projects by business and social entrepreneurs around the world. Currently, Yago oversees activities devoted to accelerating Israel's and global economic growth through innovative finance including the Milken Fellows Program together with the Blum Global Fellows Program in Jerusalem. His projects have been supported by the National Science Foundation, Ford Foundation, Google Foundation, Rothschild Foundation and the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, among others. Yago is also a visiting professor at Hebrew University of Jerusalem, the University of California- Berkeley and the University of California-San Diego. He is co-author of "Financing the Future" and other books, articles and reports. He finished his Ph.D. at UW-Madison.
