Mr. Richard Blum

Richard C. Blum is Founder and Chairman of Blum Capital Partners, L.P. He is Chairman of Montgomery Street Partners, Blum Capital's investment vehicle in real estate assets. He serves on the board of directors for Pacific Alliance Group Holdings Ltd., Egyptian Direct Investment Fund Ltd., Coral Growth Investments Ltd., Lexmark Inc., and Astar USA, LLC. Mr. Blum sits on the board of trustees of the following non-profits: The Carter Center, Brookings Institution, Glide Foundation, and California Academy of Sciences, Simon Wiesenthal Center Inc., Central European University, and the Asian Art Museum Foundation. He serves on the board of directors at the National Democratic Institute, National Geographic International and is an honorary trustee for the Brookings Institute. Mr. Blum is former chairman of the UC Board of Regents; he continues to serve as a regent. He is former chair for the Haas School of Business Advisory Board. He founded the American Himalayan Foundation and the Blum Center for Developing Economies at the University of California.
