Alex Moazed is the founder of Applico, which he founded in 2009 from his college dorm room. In his role as CEO of Applico, Alex works with Fortune 500 CEO's and boards to help them build or buy their own platform businesses. Clients include Ford Motor Company, Kloeckner Metals and Reliance ADA Group. Alex co-authored the best-selling book, Modern Monopolies, which examines and analyzes the platform business model dominating the 21st century economy. Applico has licensed its proprietary platform data to Wisdom Tree, a leading ETF creator. Alex speaks about platforms, business transformation and monopoly regulation on media outlets, in publications and conferences. He is a graduate of Babson College.
