She leads Southeast Asia at the Global Energy Alliance for People and Planet (GEAPP), catalyzing investments and pioneering partnerships that amplify decarbonization efforts across the region. With over a decade of experience, she brings private sector expertise, ecosystem thinking, and creative collaboration to unlock scalable solutions. Kitty began her climate career by co-founding the China practice for the Rocky Mountain Institute, partnering with the government to integrate research into national energy planning. At the European Climate Foundation, she expanded global renewable energy initiatives, before applying lessons from energy to food-agri. As Asia Chief Representative for Impossible Foods, she developed market entry strategies across Asia, helping to scale plant-based meat adoption. Recognised as a thought leader in blended finance, Kitty champions innovative approaches that draw in capital to advance clean energy and sustainable food systems. She also advocates for greater inclusivity, pushing for more women in leadership roles in the energy transition. Earlier in her career with Reuters, Kitty founded a media production company, producing award-winning films that highlighted stories of marginalised communities. Inspired by their resilience, she has dedicated her career to ensuring the benefits of net-zero transitions are widely shared.
