Tom has over 23 years experience advising, managing and investing in businesses across industries and geographies including venture and growth capital, corporate buyouts, real estate and corporate M&A. He currently sits on the boards of several group affiliates and portfolio companies. During his career at Mirae Asset he has led several key acquisitions on behalf of the group including Global X (USA), Horizons ETFs (Canada), BetaShares and ETF Securities (Australia) as well as notable growth and buyout investments including Impossible Foods (FoodTech), SpaceX (Climate/Space), X (Social Media), Ascend Elements (Climate/Battery), Cohere (Generative AI), Woebot (AI/Health) and The Acushnet Co (Golf Equipment and Apparel). Prior to joining Mirae Asset, Tom worked in the investment banking division of Goldman Sachs and as a consultant with BearingPoint. He holds a BA from The American University in Paris and MBA from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
