The State of the World: Conflict and Accord

-

The history of the global political-economic order is one of constant change. Sometimes this change is imperceptible; at others, abrupt. Over two decades into the 21st century, the world has experienced a global pandemic, heightened tensions around re-globalization, a land war in Europe, and increasing political polarization—all of which threaten to accelerate international divergence. This threat comes at a time of looming global challenges—including extreme poverty, economic migration, public health, and climate change—that can only be solved through greater convergence toward shared responsibility and action. Join our panelists as they examine these tensions and challenges, and look to the opportunities that will shape our world in the decades ahead.
