With a newfound openness towards foreign investments, a vast reserve of natural resources, a population with a median age of 27, and literacy and mobile penetration rates at 90 percent, Myanmar holds great potential for the regional and global economy. But on the road to reform, the new civilian government has a large task at hand to manage intense international business pressures.
