Clotilde Lagier-Tourenne is an associate professor of neurology at the Massachusetts General Institute for Neurodegeneration. Lagier-Tourenne’s lab focuses on basic science and uses a combination of genomic approaches across multiple model systems (animal models, neurons from patients, and post-mortem tissue) to identify mechanisms underlying ALS and frontotemporal dementia. More specifically, her research seeks to understand how RNA-binding proteins aggregate and contribute to neuronal dysfunction in these diseases.
